
Dr. Jessica Jameson
Dr. Jessica Jameson, MD, FASA is a highly accomplished interventional pain physician and physician-owner at Northwest Specialty Hospital and Axis Spine Center, a division of Northwest Specialty Hospital. She has extensive experience in anesthesiology and pain management, holding board certifications from the American Board of Anesthesiology in both fields.
Dr. Jameson earned her medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her internship at David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California. She then served four years as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon, gaining invaluable experience in military medicine. She pursued her residency in Anesthesia at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and further specialized through a prestigious Harvard fellowship in Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
As a key opinion leader in pain management, Dr. Jameson has contributed significantly to the field through her published research, curriculum development, and involvement in numerous international committees. She serves on the Board of the Idaho Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and is the founder of The Society for Women Innovators in Pain Management, an organization dedicated to advancing women in the field. Her commitment to research is evident in her role as principal investigator for multiple randomized controlled trials, and she is a highly sought-after speaker at national and international conferences.
In addition to her medical and academic contributions, Dr. Jameson is deeply engaged in her local community, serving on the Board of Public Health. In her personal time, she enjoys skiing, musical theatre, and spending time with her husband and three children.
